This is the largest national park in Tanzania with 20,226 km2 located in Iringa region the Southern part of Tanzania. It is also renowned as the home to the largest number of lions and large number of elephants, zebras, hunting dog, strapped hyena, kudu, antelopes, crocodile, hippos, ostriches and 450 species of birds.

The park is about 8 hours from Mikumi making this an awesome combination for anyone wanting to visit the Southern region where you are offered calm and unpopulated safaris since there are fewer number of tourists compared to the Northern region.
