Located just outside Arusha town (2-hour drive) with 2,850 km2, Tarangire national park becomes the most ideal park for day safaris from Arusha. This is the home to the largest number of elephants and incredibly old baobab trees but this are not the only ones, you can also easily spot giraffes, eland, buffalo, lion, zebra, wildebeest, leopard, African wild dog, honey badger and a generous number of bird species.

The park also offers a unique chance of going on a game drive at night to witness nocturnal animals looking for food, a thrilling experience. Guided game drives are also the best here. You can never have enough of this place!
